After a year of working ongoing development on our showroom / office our wedding warehouse is ready to go! We have collaborated with Snaparazzi Photobooths, The Finishing Touch Company and AMV Live Music to develop a one-stop creative and inspiring showroom, to help you plan your event with ease.
So to celebrate we got our creative juices flowing and styled our showroom to wow some of our industry friends!
There was a great turnout with guests attending from many of the top North East venues, as well as talented photographers, videographers, florists, bridal shops, wedding planners, cake stylists, hair and make up stylists and more.
Prosecco and festive treats were keeping the guests merry, thanks to the wonderful Bar 4 Hire and Master Cakesmith. Meanwhile, the stunning Jessica Avison and Andy Usher provided the soundtrack to the party.
It fair to say The Gosforth Studios has now been officially launched in style!
Big thanks to everyone who attended and for all the positive feedback and a special thanks to Phil at Scott Spock Photography for capturing it all for us!
Exciting news!! We have partnered up with Snaparazzi Photobooths and The Finishing Touch Company to open a fab studio / showroom in Gosforth Newcastle. We are currently renovating and creating a bit of a mess, but gradually it is coming together and we are aiming to be open for appointments in May!
Pop in for a cuppa, cheeky snap in the booth and to be inspired by our Illuminated props, alongside The Finishing Touch Company's wonderful wide range of prop hire, flowers and wedding décor. I promise you won’t regret it!
Here is a few sneaky peaks of where we are at so far!
After months of hard work and our lovely Bride & Groom's voting, we headed down the A1 with the beautiful ladies from Y.A.P Bridal Boutique, to Middleton Lodge for the winners of the awards to be revealed.
When we arrived we were welcomed with some fabulous Lanson Bubbles and met the great team behind The Wedding Industry Awards. The setting for the evening was picturesque at the wonderful Middleton Lodge, who sure know how to make their guests feel at home! After catch-ups with our industry friends, a yummy little cottage pie and a few more sips of champers to calm the nerves, the awards show begun.
The awards were dished out with huge anticipation and excitement, all whilst we stood there with butterflies in our stomach. Then the wait was over… Damian began by describing the company who won the Best Special Touch Award, as “a company that goes the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble” followed by “and the winner is COCO LUMINAIRE”!!! Eeek ecstatic is an understatement to how we felt! As you can see by the big beam on my face!
The walk up to the stage was a blur, but the pride that beamed across my face whilst getting snapped by the official photographer, is clear as day.
We spent the rest of the evening celebrating with the other wedding industry winners and friends. Here is a cheeky few snaps of the fun we had!
Last but definitely not least! The biggest heart felt thank you has to go to all of our amazing Brides & Grooms who voted for us, we really appreciate the time you spent voting and the pleasure to allow us to be a part of your special day!!
Now it’s fingers and toes crossed for the nationals in January, we will keep you all posted on how it goes!!
We had the pleasure of being a part of the lovely Natalie & Rogers wedding this weekend at the stunning Middleton Lodge. We were given the challenge of fully Coco’ing up the house and we did just that!
We added some Hollywood glamour hidden in the flowers outside the main house, which was the perfect way to welcome their guests.

As the guests entered the house the Coco ‘LOVE’ was being shared for all in the entrance hall.
Then following a beautiful ceremony the guests went through to the Drawing Room to see Natalie & Rogers initials on display… there was no forgetting who’s wedding this was ;)
Then into the night the Coco and Snaparazzi take over just got bigger! Leading the way to the Cellar Bar (a.k.a Rave Cave), was our Coco arrow.
Little love got moved to the cool cellar bar to help create a great atmosphere in the bar area, which of course was also helped by Middleton Lodges very own cheeky chappy Chris!

Digging deeper into the cellar bar, the guests were then welcomed with the one and only Snaparazzi Photobooth! Displaying a cool vintage photobooth and cinema style sign personalised with Natalie & Rogers message.
What a great night it was! Big Congratulations to Roger and Natalie! And thank you to Barnaby Aldrick Wedding Photography for the fab images!
Feel free to give us a shout if you would like any information about the props displayed in these pictures.
Wow what an amazing start to the year for Team Coco. After a busy first year with the business going from strength to strength, we took a well-earned trip to relax and gain new inspiration in India. Whilst sunbathing with the cows in Goa we heard the amazing news that we had WON the National Wedding Industry award for Best Special Touch!
We were completely over-whelmed and shocked to hear the news and were gutted we weren’t at the award show ourselves to receive the award, but some of wedding industry friends (Newton Hall and Green Biscuit Studio) were there to cheer for us in our absence. Thanks guys :)
Having had so many amazing comments and votes from our Brides & Grooms we wanted to thank you all, so please click the image above to see our acceptance speech!
Festival time is over and the summer is nearly gone, but reminising about some of the fun times that we've had definitely puts a smile back on my face!
This summer we followed the ¡VAMOS! crew on a wild goose chase around some cool venues in Newcastle upon Tyne. There was lots of dancing, eating, wrestling and games to be played all throughout June. From Summerhill bowling club, to The Toffee Factory, to Northern Stage and finally Cruoses, all bringing their unique flare to the ¡VAMOS! festival.
Here is some pictures of our very own Coco letters getting in on the ¡VAMOS! action
